Youth Education Program
Sunday's lessons are prepared each week by our Youth Education Program volunteer
teachers based on Unity's pre-school thru high school curriculum. Each lesson is experiential in nature, designed
to make spiritual learning fun and meaningful! Each class is staffed with
a teacher and an attendant, with the nursery staffed with two caregivers.
Please contact our Youth Education
Program Director, Karen Orrell, for further
information or to volunteer as a teacher or assistant for this most important
ministry at youthed@unityofwimberley.com,

Sunday's Opening Youth Assembly
Youth check-in begins each Sunday at 10.30 in the Chaparral Room. Parents
and children check-in before the 11 am Service to enroll new students, to take
attendance, to make sure each child has a nametag, and for teachers to receive
any special instruction for the young ones. At 11 am this gathering of
Unity Youth begins their Sunday experience with an Opening Assembly of
music and prayer before teachers and students relocate to their respective
classrooms. The Youth join the adults in the Sanctuary at noon for a
blessing of the children and our closing song.
UniBabies—Birth through Age 2
Our nursery is attended by loving and nurturing caregivers who create a fun
and positive environment for our youngest congregants!
UniTots—Age 3 through Kindergarten
With singing, dancing, stories and games, our UniTots celebrate being
children of God.
UniKids—1st thru 5th Grades
Our UniKids curriculum is fun and experiential, allowing each child to
explore spiritual themes in a loving, supportive and playful environment.
UniTeens—6th thru 8th Grades
UniTeens lessons involve
spiritual themes delivered
in a fun and experiential format appropriate to young teens. Our UniTeens
are also a very active social group, and gather throughout the year for rallies,
retreats, lock-ins and special outings.
Y.O.U. (Youth of Unity)—9th thru 12th Grades
Y.O.U. teens assist their sponsors in preparing their Sunday curriculum, and are active
members of the community, giving regularly through service projects and
volunteerism. These young adults actively participate in regional rallies,
area retreats, and other special events.
